Education / Training
Noel Lozares, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, COMT graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelors in Molecular Cell Biology. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.
Dr. Lozares further advanced his post-graduate education by training with the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and subsequently passing the Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT) examinations. Many of his mentors are Fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT). Noel continued to develop his clinical skills training under leading physiotherapists from the US Military, Australia, the Netherlands, as well as from leading researchers in the field.
Noel continually trains to expand his clinical skills and knowledge base. He regularly attends conferences held by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and relevant lectures and seminars to stay current with advances in the field.
Dr. Lozares is both a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Phsical Therapy (OCS) and a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
In addition to constantly learning, Noel dedicates time to teaching and mentoring. He is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor by the APTA and a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coach.
